Clerics; desist from using sentiments that can cause division among the folks-Bishop Charles Bameka Warns

With only 8 days left to January 14th general elections, religious leaders have been asked to desist from using sentiments that can cause division among the folks.
The call was made by the National presiding Bishop of the Lutheran church of Uganda the Rt. Rev. Charles Isabirye Bameka during an interview with journalists at City hotel.
The man of God was reacting to recent sentiments by his counterparts who are openly campaigning for different presidential candidates with the most recent ones being Bishop Alfred Olwa of Lango diocese who openly rallied Christians to vote for president Museveni and a Catholic Rev. Fr. In Buweenda who also openly attacked president Museveni and asked mourners to vote for Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine.
